With so much water around, there is a lot of fish to be caught as well.
There are many locations, both from a boat as well as from the land. The
locals will be able to tell you what the best spots are as well as the best

There are a few golf course in the area, the nearest one in St Nicolaasga.

In summer you can just jump in to the lake of course, but in case
you find that a bit too cold there a simple swimming pool on the park. There
is a bigger pool in Grou and a great “Tropical Paradise” in Joure.
Restaurants & Bars
So many nice villages provide an great amount of restaurants,
bars and nightlife. On the park itself there is a bar as well as a highly
recommended restaurant “De Vrijheid”. You can also enjoy a few drinks from
the terrace overlooking the lake, which is fantastic.
